About the Role

We are looking for highly skilled and experienced carpenters to join our locally based Manawatū team. As an LTM carpenter your primary role will be carrying out general carpentry, concrete and formworks, including restoration, renovation and new building commercial carpentry works. You will optimise the use of company resources and contribute to the successful completion of our contracts.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for : you will have a minimum of 5 years’ building and construction experience and relevant trade qualification. You will have the following requirements :

• A genuine interest in Health & Safety along with natural interpersonal skills and motivation to provide excellent workmanship
• Excellent building skills, with thorough knowledge of building methods and materials
• Skill interpreting drawings and architectural plans
• The ability to properly use and maintain tools
• An understanding of building and safety regulations
• Willing to be an integral part of our valued carpentry team, step up to take a leading role as required
• Clear police record
• Physically and medically fit
