With loads of work on the go, we are looking for experienced carpenters to join our team. This role will be permanent and full-time job

Your responsibilities includes :

Reading Plans and Specifications to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.

Installing Framing ,Roofing, Framing ,Bracing to Walls ,Read Council Plans for Compliance of Framing

Installing structures or fixtures, such as frames, floorings, trim, windows, doors, Internal Linings or hardware, using carpenters’ hand or power tools.

Studying drawings and creating forming shutters for concrete work, working with Engineers ,Geotech Engineers for Foundations, blocklayer to set out foundation structure as per plans and specifications

Installing Finishing Lines ,skirtings. Scotia and Architraves

organise Council Inspections when required

Work with Roofing Sub Trade for roof framing and structure

Fitting External Cladding, including installing scribers, Aluminium Joinery, soffits

Other duties as assigned

The ideal applicant needs to :

Have at least 2 years work experience in carpentry or relevant occupation or relevant qualification equivalent to NZQA Level 4

Have a firm understanding of the health and safety requirements that need to be upheld on site and be able to ensure they are adhered to.

Be able to interpret and comprehend plans to ensure accurate builds and be able to collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Pay conditions :

Minimum $30 to Maximum $30 per hour

Hours of work :

Minimum 30 hours per week is guaranteed.
