Job Title : Carpenter
Location : Auckland
Job Type : Full-time (At least 30hours / week)
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to build wall and ceiling frameworks, flooring systems, and roof structures.
- Construct and install various structures such as external stairs, partitions, and panels using appropriate tools and fasteners.
- Install doors, windows, and associated hardware like hinges, locks, and handles into prepared frames.
- Repair and renovate wooden structures by removing and replacing damaged or deteriorated timber.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site by clearing debris, tools, and materials after each task.
- Prepare and install formwork for concrete structures as needed, ensuring precise alignment and durability.
What we need :
2 Years relevant work experience or a relevant Certificate (Level4 or above) in Carpentry, Construction, Engineering, etc.Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and plans.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.Understanding of wood properties, construction techniques, and fastening methods.Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.We can provide you :
