About the role

We’re looking for a junior Salesforce Developer to join our Business Enablement team in Napier or Christchurch. You’ll configure, develop, maintain, and support our Salesforce environment to enable great customer, product, and sales outcomes.

You’ll be involved in the full software development life cycle, from gathering requirements and designing solutions to coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. This includes creating and customising applications on the Salesforce platform, integrating Salesforce with other systems, ensuring accuracy and security, and providing technical support when needed.

You’re organised, proactive, and comfortable working with systems and technology. You like things to run smoothly and accurately, and you’re the type of person who spots issues before they become problems. You enjoy solving problems, figuring out how things work, and making them work better. You bring a strong service mindset, because even in technical roles, the end goal is a great experience for the people using your solutions. You’re also collaborative, able to work well with different teams and stakeholders to get the right outcome.

What you’ll bring

• 1–2 years’ experience in software development, with experience developing and customising Salesforce applications
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce administration (Lightning framework, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
• Understanding of Salesforce data models and integrations with other systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to see issues through to completion
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I / II, App Builder, Administrator) and DevOps / CI / CD knowledge are a bonus
