This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with deep PostgreSQL expertise and strong DevOps experience to contribute to meaningful work that impacts Aotearoa.If you're passionate about cloud-native database engineering, automation, and working in a collaborative Agile environment, this role is for you.What You'll Be DoingAs a Senior Database Reliability Engineer, you'll take ownership of AWS Aurora PostgreSQL environments, ensuring they're secure, resilient, and high-performing.

You'll work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product owners to deliver scalable database solutions and support ongoing transformation initiatives.Key Responsibilities : Manage and optimize AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases for performance, availability, and securityDesign and implement global database solutions using AWS CDK and CI / CD pipelinesAdminister PostGIS and trusted language extensions (TLE) in PostgreSQLCollaborate across teams to support database-related initiativesMonitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actionsMaintain robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrityManage AWS resources using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform in production environmentsWhat You BringYou're a seasoned database engineer with a strong DevOps mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
