OverviewJoin to apply for the Senior System Engineer role at Randstad New Zealand.ResponsibilitiesThe role involves performing regular preventative maintenance tasks (daily, weekly, monthly), as well as providing incident and request support and management.Managing ITSM (IT Service Management) workflows.Supporting automation and other continuous improvement activities.Leading and supporting other engineers in delivering the above activities.Engaging with end users and business representatives, translating complex technology into clear and concise communication.Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of experience in relevant areas.Experience supporting end users and business representatives, managing incidents and requests, and completing routine maintenance tasks.Experience with vitalised Windows Server environments (2008R2-2016) and managing virtual Windows Server operating systems across multiple environments.Experience with Linux server administration, maintenance, and patching (Red Hat 6).
Knowledge and experience in protecting information for a Government agency, with understanding of Government legislation and policy (e.g., PRA, PSR, NZISM).
Experience with SAFe or a similar agile framework.Effective communication skills, able to explain technical details to end users.Experience with VMware and Hyper-V.To be considered for this role, you must be able to maintain a minimum of TOP SECRET and preferably a TOP SECRET SPECIAL security clearance.
