The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team on a 7-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave.
This role focuses on supporting the financial operations of our New Zealand business, with primary responsibilities in financial accounting processes and compliance.
The position contributes to the efficiency and accuracy of the finance function, assisting in areas such as billing and revenue, month-end reporting and capital expenditure.

Responsibilities
Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and revenue accruals
Generate customer invoices in SAP HANA and ensure accurate billing data and revenue recognition
Asset and inventory management
Compliance and audit support
Finance process documentation and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Business partnering
What you'll need to be successful
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting and internal controls awareness
Working towards CPA / CA affiliation
Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Experience with Google Suite is desirable but not essential
Exposure to SAP is desirable but not essential
You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, work autonomously and provide high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, alongside proven problem-solving skills and initiative, will make you the ideal candidate.
