In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with teams across Council to understand their business performance data needs, deliver clear and actionable insights, and support the development of digital tools that empower decision-makers. From building dashboards to leading analytical projects, your work will directly contribute to making Napier a more efficient, data-informed, and forward-thinking organisation.

• Work with stakeholders across Council to turn complex data into insights that support key decisions.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards with a focus on developing modern self-service solutions for stakeholders.
• Lead analytical projects that improve planning, forecasting, and operational performance.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of data governance, infrastructure, and quality.

Ngā painga mōhou – What we Offer

This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. You will be based in Napier CBD.

The annual salary package for this role is between $91,400–$107,500 (including KiwiSaver), with the final offer depending on your skills and experience.
