About the role
The Business Insights team is looking for a Business Insights Analyst to join the team.
Reporting to the Manager Business Insights, Customer Design and Innovation branch within the Te Whakatairanga – Service Delivery business group, this role is integral to helping the business uncover insights, measure the impact of our services and make evidence-based decisions.
You will be working with branches in TWSD to understand their business and help them make decisions through the use of data and insights.
You may use information from multiple sources to give a holistic picture of customer channels, customer experience, regulatory effectiveness and quality of service delivery.
Experience in using qualitative analytics tools such as Power BI, R, Python, SQL, etc. would be advantageous.
Skills and experience required
Ability to convey information in a meaningful way so stakeholders can make sense of it
Genuine interest in unpicking information and scenarios to uncover drivers and impacts
Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to quickly build relationships and trust
Sound analytical skills and a desire to learn from others who are more technical
Good understanding of data and insights practices
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Competent in a range of tools such as Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint and / or other reporting toolsets
Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
