Head teacher – Whanau Manaaki KindergartensFull time, Fixed term, Start Date : 06 / 10 / 2025, End Date : 18 / 09 / 2026 (Head Teacher in temporary new role)The kindergarten is in South End, Carterton on the main road.

The families are predominately from Carterton and surrounding rural areas who are supportive of the kindergarten and the teaching team.

The vast outdoor environment provides many learning opportunities for physical play, connecting with nature and sustainability practices.The kindergarten is well resourced where there are ongoing improvements for positive learning outcomes for tamariki.

The kindergarten has close links with the local school which is located on the same grounds.

The localised curriculum also promotes connections with other schools, rest homes and places of significance in the community.This role is 40 hours per week worked Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm.This fixed-term will commence October 2025 and will finish on the 18 September 2026.To apply for this position, you need to address the key skills or abilities listed below.
