Whakamârama Kindergarten – Full-time head teacher position

Whakamarama Kindergarten is excited to welcome a full-time head teacher to our rural kindergarten, just west of Tauranga.

This role begins on 19 January 2026.

Our well-resourced kindergarten has a dedicated team of three full-time educators and is licensed for 30 children.

We are passionate about nature-based education, with a beautiful ngahere that tamariki regularly explore and learn in.

We are looking for an inspiring and energetic leader who values outdoor learning and the joy of country life, and who will bring warmth, innovation, and vision to our kindergarten community.

The terms and conditions of the Kindergarten Teachers Collective Agreement will apply.
