We are currently seeking multiple skilled and passionate Chefs to join our team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with management to plan, develop, and update menus, introducing new and seasonal dishes that align with customer preferences and business goals.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Oversee the presentation and plating of all meals to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards.
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimise wastage.
- Maintain proper portion control and ensure meals are visually appealing and of high quality.
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff, delegating tasks effectively and promoting a positive and safe working environment.
- Monitor the condition and performance of kitchen equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and storage standards, including proper stock rotation and handling procedures.
- Collaborate with management to address operational challenges and contribute to continuous improvement in kitchen efficiency and service quality.
You are required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week, and you will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.
Requirements for the Role :
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience or a Level 4 qualification in related field.Must be able to start early and work flexible hours as required.Available to work on weekends.Physically fit and able to work on foot for extended periodsStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.Good coordination and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Demonstrated leadership skills with the capability to guide and support kitchen staff when required.High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and presentation standards.
