    As a Team Coach, you will provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to a team of Support Workers, supporting clinical oversight, risk management, and team development across the region. Together, you’ll provide responsive, recovery-focused, and culturally grounded care to tāngata whai ora in one of our residential services.

    You’ll work closely with the Service and Relationship Manager, and alongside other Team Coaches to ensure safe, high-quality care and continuous improvement in how we deliver support.

    This is a unique opportunity to influence practice, strengthen partnerships, and inspire a team that truly embodies our “whatever it takes” wairua.

    This is a permanent, full time role, working Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am–5 : 00pm, with rotational on-call elements, based in Hamilton.

    About You | Mōu

    You’re an experienced and grounded health professional who leads with integrity, compassion, and courage. You know how to balance clinical rigour with human connection, and you thrive on empowering others.

    You’ll have :

  • Current registration as a Registered Health Professional (e.g., Registered Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist)
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary clinical teams, ideally within an NGO or community-based setting
  • Strong capabilities in triage, assessment, and risk management
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, supervise, and mentor clinicians and support staff
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Full NZ driver’s licence and a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
