We are seeking a qualified counsellor to join our guidance team in 2026. The ideal applicant will be passionate about working with young people and able to thrive in a busy school environment. They will have the skills to competently manage their own caseload of clients while also navigating and appropriately responding to a crisis if needed. They will have the discernment around balancing therapeutic support of our students within a school context and able to work collaboratively within the school’s pastoral team.
They will hold either a bachelor’s degree in counselling or a Master of Counselling and be a member of a professional body. They will be comfortable liaising with external agencies and working to support these within the school. They will be committed to promoting and being an advocate of the wellbeing for all our students.

Previous experience as a school counsellor or experience in a similar role is an advantage.
