OverviewOneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in Taranaki.

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Person to join a well-established industrial operation based in Bell Block.

This role focuses on ensuring all plant, machinery, lifting gear, and tools are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.ResponsibilitiesConduct preventative and reactive maintenance on cranes, tools, lifting gear, and plant equipmentCarry out prompt repairs to minimise downtimeMaintain accurate and up-to-date asset and compliance registersCoordinate inspections, test & tag, and external service providers as requiredEnsure all work complies with safety standards and NZ legislationLiaise with production teams and management to plan and report maintenance activityWork ScheduleFlexible but structured hours (to be agreed with successful candidate)Full-time role based in Bell Block, New PlymouthRequirementsProven experience in asset, plant, or crane maintenance in an industrial environmentStrong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skillsOrganised, with attention to compliance and record-keepingFamiliarity with NZ workplace health & safety standardsCurrent driver's licenceAbility to work independently and make sound maintenance decisionsBenefits of Joining OneStaffWeekly payPermanent opportunities availablePPE provided at no costOngoing support from an OneStaff client manager to meet your employment needsApplicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
