Maintenance Person

OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in Taranaki.We are currently recruiting for an Maintenance Personto join a well-established industrial operation based in Bell Block.

This role is focused on ensuring all plant, machinery, lifting gear, and tools are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on cranes, tools, lifting gear, and plant equipment
• Carry out prompt repairs to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset and compliance registers
• Coordinate inspections, test & tag, and external service providers as required
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and NZ legislation
• Liaise with production teams and management to plan and report maintenance activityWork Schedule :
• Flexible but structured hours (to be agreed with successful candidate)
• Full-time role based in Bell Block, New PlymouthRequirements :
• Proven experience in asset, plant, or crane maintenance in an industrial environment
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
• Organised, with attention to compliance and record-keeping
• Familiarity with NZ workplace health & safety standards
• Current driver's licence
