About the role | Mō te tūranga :

We are seeking a permanent, full-time qualified Medical Laboratory Technician with a current APC to join our Mt. Wellington Microbiology Department. Experience in microbiology is preferred, but training will be considered for candidates with a strong science background. The role is 80 hours per fortnight, with shifts from 2 : 00PM to 10 : 30PM.

• Ability to work methodically, following strict quality procedures.
• Team-oriented with initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently within a supportive team environment.
• Registration with the Medical Science Council and an Annual Practicing Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Technician are desirable.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
