Our client is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of this dynamic produce packhouse.Job involves : - Managing a large team of day and night shift staff (Key decision maker)- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the packhouse- Reporting to site Manager, with 4-6 Direct reports under- Working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines- Planning and Strategizing for improvement projects- Developing and sustaining safe work practices- Maintenance planning and co-ordinationIdeal Candidate : - Previous production management experience required- Experience or knowledge of Fresh Produce Industry desirable, not essential- Robust leadership skills- Effective Communication skills, with ability to motivate team- Confident and experienced using computer packages and databases- Attention to detail and strives for consistent product excellence- Reliable and trustworthyIf you require further information, do not hesitate to contact us.If you believe this is the role for you, then we can't wait to hear from you!
