About the Role

St Catherine of Siena School is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our committed team. The successful applicant will support students with additional learning and behavioural needs, working under the direction of the Learning Diversity Leader and in collaboration with classroom teachers. The role involves contributing to an inclusive and supportive educational environment where all students are empowered to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Assist teachers in implementing personalised learning adjustments and behaviour support strategies.
• Establish positive, respectful, and trusting relationships with students to enhance engagement and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support the holistic development of each learner.
• Contribute actively to the inclusive and faith-based ethos of St Margaret’s Primary School.
