As Principal Engineer, you'll be a technical leader driving the evolution of ASB's Salesforce platform.
You'll play a key role in our CRM transformation, working with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions, uplift engineering standards, and ensure our platform supports business outcomes at scale.
Lead technical design and decision-making for Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with ASB's strategy
Act as the go-to expert for complex technical challenges and escalations
Collaborate with architecture, platform, and leadership teams to shape technical roadmaps and manage dependencies
Support system stability, delivery pipelines, and test automation initiatives
Champion engineering best practices and continuous improvement across the Customer Tribe
Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the Salesforce platform
You're a seasoned engineering leader with deep Salesforce expertise and a passion for driving transformation.
You thrive in complex environments, inspire others, and bring a strategic mindset to solving business challenges.
8+ years' experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, including 4+ years in architecture roles (Solution or Technical)
Proven track record of leading technical design and delivering scalable, high-impact solutionsHands-on experience in banking, ideally with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC); nCino experience is a plus
Strong understanding of compliance, security, and regulated environments
Curiosity for new Salesforce features and practical applications (e.g., Data Cloud, Agentforce)
Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and uplift engineering teams
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business stakeholders
Energised by solving complex problems and driving change at scale
