Senior Systems Specialist - Business Support

About the role :
You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work on an enterprise scale, all while being part of a smaller squad that makes their own decisions about how to work through prioritisation - so your voice will be heard, and your opinions valued.
We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day - where we are now looking for a mix of technical skills, including some of the following :
Analysis and Application Support
Understand IT infrastructure
Continuously improve processes and solutions to be scalable and highly available
Standardising and automating support tasks
Setting up monitoring, alerting and reporting
Certificate implementation and management
Mentoring and uplifting squad capability
Afterhours Support
About you :
We\'ll value your willingness to learn, proven initiative, knowledge sharing, documentation skills, problem solving abilities and leadership skills as we look for every engineer to lead from their position.
Our ideal candidate will be based in Auckland.
With regards to background, you will need the following capabilities :
Technical problem solving, black box diagnosis and be willing to embrace the unknown
Experience supporting enterprise SaaS and commercial (on-premises) products
Experience with network infrastructure (e.g. firewalls, DNS, Active Directory)
Experience working within Agile methodologies
Providing mentoring and leadership amongst peers
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Experienced in engaging internal business stakeholders and third parties
In addition, any of the following would be a huge bonus :
Comfortable working in a highly regulatory environment
Broad knowledge of enterprise applications
Working knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., SFTP, APIs)
Experience with CI / CD systems (e.g. TFS, GitHub, Octopus, Azure DevOps)
