Tranzit is an award-winning transport and tourism provider operating throughout NZ, and we are seeking an experienced Operations Assistant to support our busy Tranzit Coachlines Central team based in Taupo.

You will work collaboratively with our Operations Supervisor and wider team by providing day-to-day operational support and ensuring we are delivering safe, reliable, and quality transport to our clients.

This is a fast-paced, exciting industry and this position will suit someone who thrives on change and quick, methodical decision making.

This is a permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week).

What You\'ll Do

Manage queries, including answer phones / emails, and coordinating general enquiries.

Provide operational support to the Operations Supervisor and the wider team with various operational and administrative duties.

Ordering and processing of staff uniforms, stationery and other depot supplies.

Administrative reporting, including overseeing the coordination of bus audits and fault reports.

Foster a proactive Health and Safety culture by assisting with committee meetings and supporting our team to comply with all requirements.

Who are we looking for?

A strong customer delivery focus

A positive, pragmatic and well-balanced approach to problem solving and decision making

Ability to work under pressure

Advanced technical skills and willingness to adapt to new technology

A current class 2 or 4 drivers\' licence with the ability to gain a Passenger endorsement (if you don\'t have one already)

Transport industry experience is a must
