Trainee Livestock Representative

About the role :

This Traineeship is a great foundation to begin your career. This full-time role will introduce you to all the facets of PGG Wrightson's successful Livestock business. Under the guidance of our experienced Livestock agents and managers across the country and through a structured programme of modules and assessments that are designed to provide you with a broad 'generalist' understanding and ability; you will be exposed to everything - from sales and technical knowledge, through to client management and systems.

You will learn about :

• What makes a successful Livestock Representative or 'Agent'
• Qualitative and quantitative technical assessments of livestock
• Quoting, contracts, systems, online trading platform (bidr) and processes that support our commercial operations
• Other specialist Livestock areas such as Deer / Velvet, Genetics and Standardbred
• End to end systems of Livestock supply chain
• Compliance and legislation that plays a key role in the industry
