Materials Manager

Overview

Take ownership of procurement, inventory, and supplier management in a hands-on role. Step into a role where your expertise in materials management directly powers smart, field-tested agricultural machinery. You’ll oversee the supply chain for products that are 100% NZ-made, built to last, and trusted by farmers across the country.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of parts, consumables, and high-value imported items
• Managing supplier relationships, including freight and logistics
• Setting and monitoring stock levels, replenishment, and stocktakes
• Working closely with production, design, and sales teams to align supply with demand
• Driving process improvements to lift efficiency and reduce waste
• Oversee the stores team to deliver accurate and timely inventory management

This role blends hands-on purchasing and inventory management with oversight of a small team and the chance to influence systems and processes across the business.
