What will you do?
A day in the life of a Regional Marketing Specialist, NZA at icebreaker and Smartwool includes supporting the Senior Marketing Manager, APAC to execute regional marketing strategy and initiatives across all channels and consumer touch points, to drive brand awareness, engagement and regional sales and profit targets. You will align with APAC and global Marketing teams by locally adapting global toolkits and strategy, and work with the Regional Ecom and Channel teams to ensure omnichannel marketing execution.
- Lead the execution of the regional implementation of the regional marketing strategy, including 360 omni-channel campaigns across retail, IB.com and WSL; partner with Ecom to execute in digital media channels.
- Roll out seasonal launches and provide 360 toolkits for sell-in and sell-out, including WSL / Retail (print, trade promotions, activations).
- Roll out the aligned Marketing Calendar for the region and add new regional initiatives and localized needs; liaise with Regional cross-functional teams (Ecom; Channels; Sales; Inventory; Finance; Customer Service) to ensure awareness of launch and calendar plans.
What do you need to succeed?
Foundation skills are required; formal education in marketing is beneficial, but 5 years of experience and professional achievements are valued.

Brand management
Be an icebreaker brand custodian in the WSL team and market.Ensure all brand guidelines are upheld across touchpoints (wholesale stores, digital platforms, retail environments and activation points).Execute marketing activities for wholesale partners and retail events.Project Management + Reporting
Support Marketing Manager to adapt global assets, including writing briefs, tweaking copy and proofreading.Maintain the live master regional calendar with omni-channel activity.Track marketing expenses to budget and ensure ROI discipline on all programs, including ownership of PR, seeding, wholesale and retail budgets.Consolidate, analyze and report on promotional / campaign performance; record data in KPI logs and develop actionable insights.Coordinate in-region translations of global assets as required.PR / Influencers
Assist in managing PR agency relationships and build direct PR / athlete / ambassador contacts.Activate regional PR plan and manage relationships with local ambassadors.Execute PR events or activations within the region and track ROI.Develop seeding plans for local ambassadors / athletes / influencers.Wholesale Marketing

Equivalent of 3 years multi-channel marketing experience, including marketing administration, in a product-based business with retail, wholesale and e-commerce.Strong executional focus; able to deliver multi-seasonal outputs across all sales channels.Experience managing creative processes with agencies; delivering a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.Experience with suppliers / vendors and budgeting.Strong ROI discipline for marketing programs.Creative approach to working with budget constraints and finding solutions.Can Do (Capability fit)
