Reporting to the Store Manager, you will work on high-performance suspension, GVM upgrades, and general suspension and performance work in a supportive team environment.Key responsibilities include : Diagnose and repair suspension, steering, braking, and underbody components to Fulcrum standardsFit and tune 4x4 lift kits, GVM upgrades, lowering systems, and other performance modificationsPerform precision wheel alignments and balancingMentor apprentices and contribute to team developmentComplete AutoOptix video updates and provide customer-friendly explanationsMaintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environmentComplete service records and participate in toolbox talksAbout You / QualificationsRequired : Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical TechnologyValid QLD driver's licenceMinimum 6 months' experience in an Australian workshopWe welcome applications from passionate 3rd and 4th year apprentices seeking suspension and performance upgrade experience.

Valued extras : Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical DiagnosisSuspension, underbody, or performance tuning experienceWheel alignment and balancing expertisePrior mentoring experienceFamiliarity with aftermarket or retail auto service environmentsIdeal candidate traits : car enthusiast, hands-on with MX5s, GTRs, Porsches, and 4x4s; safety-focused; team player; receptive to learning and feedback.
