We do this by designing, building and managing mobile sites across the country for telecommunications providers (like Spark and 2degrees) to expand their coverage efficiently and sustainably.As Senior Financial Analyst, you will be the owner and subject matter expert for Connexa's corporate financial model, which underpins our corporate valuation and strategic decision-making.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the executive team and board by delivering robust financial analysis, scenario planning, and investment appraisals that drive long-term value for shareholders.
This role provides the opportunity for significant director and board time, where you will have the opportunity to learn from shareholder representatives for two significant global investment organisations.
of 2,500 covers Cape Reinga to Bluff and is the largest in New Zealand.ResponsibilitiesOwn and enhance Connexa's corporate financial model, driving insight into performance and value.Lead scenario and valuation analysis to support strategic and investment decisions.Develop and present business cases and financial insights to executive and board stakeholders.Support treasury and compliance activities, including cashflow forecasting and reporting.Manage forecasting processes and post-investment reviews to track performance outcomes.Conduct market research and ESG analysis to identify opportunities and support reportingQualificationsDemonstrated expertise in building, maintaining, and interpreting complex, long-term financial models for large-scale asset-intensive businesses5+ years' experience in advanced financial modelling and analysis, ideally within investment banking, infrastructure, private equity, corporate finance or Big 4 financial advisoryStrong understanding of valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, WACC, scenario / sensitivity analysis)A knowledge of financial accounting and tax concepts will be advantageousAdvanced Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint; experience with financial modelling tools or BI platforms is an advantageExceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable, with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and ability to work effectively across small, cross-functional teams.A recognition and embrace and differences and diversity in the workplaceA growth mindset and desire for continuous improvementBenefitsIn return for your efforts, you will also be rewarded with a competitive annual salary and benefits package.
