Quantity Surveyor

Overview :

This national construction firm is now seeking an additional Quantity Surveyors with a depth of experience in the Canterbury market to join the team based in Christchurch reporting to the Regional Manager. The company has a high profile within the sector with projects including high end fitout, interiors and commercial construction throughout New Zealand.

Experience and skills sought :

• An experienced intermediate to senior level Quantity Surveyor.
• Depth of experience within the Canterbury region
• Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial acumen.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Understand contract documentation
• Technically competent
• The ability to plan and think ahead.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Well develop systems skills
• Ability to manage the QS function from start to finish
• A natural ability to build strong professional relationships with a range of people.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.
• Experience in commercial NZ construction.
