Through integration and collaboration, we - re building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleWe\'re looking for flexible, dynamic and motivational Registered Nurses with previous Neonatal or Child Health experience to join our ACNM team within our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) based at Wellington Regional Hospital.About the Team / ServiceNICU provides level three Neonatal Intensive Care Services for the central region of New Zealand including a 24-hour Infant Retrieval Service.
Level two Neonatal Services are provided for the Wellington Metropolitan and Kapiti / Porirua areas.
The Neonatal Transition Team provides transition nursing support for infants in the Capital & Coast catchment area.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit also has responsibility for provision of a telephone consultation service to the region and provides education and consultation to level two referral units.We have a strong commitment to nursing education and excellence in patient care, there are many opportunities to further your education and be part of a committed and innovative team.

We have a committed nursing team which provides ongoing direction and support.About youAll nurses employed by Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand will have Registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and maintain a current Annual Practising Certificate as a Registered Nurse.The ACNM is a management support role extending the presence of Clinical leadership within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The ACNM will clinically manage NICU when rostered as well as manage a portfolio of work.
The ACNM will support Charge Nurse Manager in leading the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and supporting the NICU Team.
