As such, we are seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to join our busy finance team.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for producing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for our Construction Equipment, Power Product (generators) and Consumables (oil and filtration) divisions.We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven person to provide financial planning, reporting, analysis and guidance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering for real work scenarios.ResponsibilitiesReporting of monthly financials and providing insight against budget and forecastsEnsure management and financial reporting is accurate and delivered on a timely basis to our Finance team and Sales departmentsMonitoring of Equipment, Power Product, Consumables and attachment inventory including stock count activitiesMonitoring the performance of the Rental Fleet portfolioPrepare financial information such as reports and audits in accordance with TDX policies and accounting standards / lawProcess mapping all tasks involved at month end and ensure any relevant Standard Operating Procedures are updated as requiredIdentify opportunities for process improvement, reporting monthly for review with senior managers and relevant stakeholdersManage sound relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as Auditors, Sales and Rentals teamQualificationsA tertiary qualification in accountingMinimum experience 5 years as qualified accountant in a commercial environmentAdvanced level of spreadsheet skillsExperience with a commercial accounting systemAbility to interpret, extract and analyse financial information – able to present to a range of peopleHighly resilient with proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlinesEffective communicator with demonstrated ability to build constructive relationshipsEnjoys working in a down-to-earth environmentIf you are interested in learning more about this role, we look forward to viewing your application by hitting APPLY NOW.New Zealand market leaders for Construction Equipment, Diesel Engines, Transmissions, Generator sets, Oil and Filtration products, TDX represent a number of leading global brands, the principle being Volvo Construction Equipment.
