The Senior Legal Counsel role will support the General Counsel and provide internal and external legal support across a range of matters including commercial and property.

Our client, a public sector organisation is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the General Counsel on the last stage of a project. The role would support all project functions and corporate divisions with legal advice until the end of the project which will be at least 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a range of commercial contracts such as consultancy agreements, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements;
• Working on construction, property, resource management
• Work constructively with external counsel
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders
