If you love teaching practical skills in dynamic outdoor environments, thrive on adventure, and enjoy guiding young people to reach their full potential, this is your chance to make a real difference.What you'll do...As an Outdoors Instructor, you will deliver high-quality outdoor programmes that inspire and empower Tamariki and Rangatahi.
Working with our team, you'll provide a wide range of activities such as abseiling, rock climbing, archery, bushcraft, EOTC and ABL.
You will also lead aquatic adventures including sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and more.This is a fixed-term full-time role starting October 2025 until April 2026, based at our Mount Eden site with programme delivery across Auckland.
Flexibility is essential, as some sessions may run in the evenings or weekends.What we're looking for...You will bring recognised outdoor education qualifications (NZOIA certifications) and experience delivering high-quality outdoors programmes for young people.
You're a confident, engaging facilitator who can safely guide groups through challenging and fun activities, from abseiling and kayaking to bushcraft and team challenges.You'll also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a full, clean New Zealand driver's licence.
