We continue to work with others to achieve equity in key health indicators for Maaori, Pacific and communities with health disparities and will continue to develop and implement plans, based on local needs to improve the health and wellbeing of Counties Manukau region.Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park.We are part of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, the overarching organisation for New Zealands national health service.

We are currently seeking highly motivated, experienced mental health
We serve the communities of South Auckland and are developing a Tamariki team that will develop strong links with other specialists in child mental health, primary care partners and schools so we can work in an integrated way.
Our main hub is based in East Tamaki however clinicians will work out of various satellite offices throughout our localities.This opportunity will allow the clinician to be part of the development of this new service from the beginning.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing advice, consultation, assessment, and evidence-based treatment to the tamariki and whaanau presenting with mental health challenges.
There will also be opportunity to develop and enhance your skills in this specialised area.
Working in this role will include a great deal of liaison work with schools, paediatricians, and other key stakeholders.If you are an experienced mental health nurse with child and adolescent experience and looking to make a difference in the lives of our Tamariki, then we would love to hear from you!
