The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced registered nurses who are ready for a new challenge. Our fertility nurses are experts at juggling priorities, and happy to work with our patients both in person and on the phone and via email. This role is a mix of patient-facing and computer work, and with a rotating task roster, no day is ever the same!
Our nurses play an important role in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our patients. Working closely with embryologists, doctors, counsellors, and administrative staff, our nurses ensure a seamless experience for patients throughout their treatment journey.
This is a permanent full-time role , 40 hours per week with a share of the weekend and public holiday roster in our Remuera clinic.
Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include caring for patients from admission through their procedure and recovery to discharge, including theatre support. In addition, our nurses are responsible for dispensing and administering medications, assisting with ultrasound scanning, working closely with the doctors to prepare treatment plans, and preparing patients throughout their journey with education about their treatment and processes, as well as maintaining regular communication in person, over the phone, and via our messenger system.
Ideal candidate, skills and experience
Requirements
Must hold current NZ registration with the Nursing Council of NZ
Must have NZ experience in an acute or hospital setting
