We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist who will be an integral part of our multi-functional teams who work together with our world class Ophthalmologists to provide exceptional care to our patients. This role will be based in our Whangarei site in Kamo. The role is 20 hours per week, to be worked Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as per the roster. Ideally you will also be able to flex up in hours / days as required, from time to time, to cover leave when needed.
Duties will include :
- Ensuring our patients have a positive experience
- Patient bookings for clinic, surgery and post operative care
- Processing payments and supporting patients with the claiming process with their insurer
- Collaboration with our cross-functional teams to optimise the patient experience and services
- Responding to general phone and email queries
- Processing referrals and collating patient information
- Managing and handling patient files and interactions to ensure a seamless experience for our patients and our team
