Job descriptionFellows of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEMS) are very welcome. Also happy to consider GPs or Urgent Care Specialists, provided they can demonstrate experience and capability in managing critically ill patients.
Locum cover is required for :
- 6 December 2025 | Day shift, 0800 to 1700, and night on call
- 7 - 8 December 2025 | Day shift, 0800 to 1700
- 27 December 2025 | Day shift, 0800 to 1700, and night on call
- 28 - 31 December 2025 | Day shift, 0800 to 1700
- 1 - 2 January 2025 | Day shift, 0800 to 1700
Position details :
Freshwater lakes with pristine white sand beaches, wildly beautiful coastlines, surfing, natural attractions and more stand out in this stunning Northland paradise.
This is the perfect opportunity to contribute to a small hospital and its local community. There’s a consultant that visits from Whangarei Hospital to provide specialty medical and surgical services, which will provide you the opportunity to learn and progress your skills.
The town’s history is on display at superbly informative local museums. Leisure activities include coastal walks on the ocean beach, surfcasting, horse riding, golf, and touring. A big city fix is just 2.5 hours away, too.
