Cluster 14 (Te Parirau o Tainui Waka) seeks an experienced and inspiring cluster manager to lead our dedicated RTLB team. You will oversee the delivery of high-quality, inclusive support services that promote positive learning and behaviour outcomes for mokopuna across our cluster schools.
This role works closely with the lead school principal, RTLB team, schools, whānau, iwi, and agencies to ensure a culturally grounded, effective service aligned with RTLB national priorities.
We seek a leader who :
- Is a fully certificated teacher with proven educational leadership experience
- Has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the RTLB service, RTLB practice framework and He Pikorua
- Demonstrates strong professional, relational and strategic leadership : proficiency in being innovative, visionary and working proactively, implementing change to enable Cluster strategic goals to be met
- Successfully implements, and manages, change
- Is passionate, visible, approachable with a strong focus on tamariki
- Has a deep knowledge of inclusive education and learning and behaviour support
- Upholds Te Tiriti o Waitangi and models culturally responsive practice
- Can effectively manage people, resources, reporting, professional learning, and operations
- Has the ability to readily form productive, high trust working relationships with key stakeholders : school principals, cluster schools / kura, MOE, other agencies and be strongly focused on tamariki / students, whānau and staff wellbeing
- Has the ability to organise, mentor, motivate and inspire our practice leaders and RTLB and give confidence to the schools / kura within our Cluster
- Has sound financial knowledge and experience in budgeting and resourcing
- Holds a full, current clean driver's licence.
