Job description

Our client is seeking a Facilities Manager who takes pride in keeping properties running smoothly, safely, and efficiently? We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to join a trusted property management team with a diverse portfolio across commercial, residential, and body corporate assets.

As a Facilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the value, safety, and performance of our clients’ properties. With a strong health and safety ethic you will coordinate maintenance, oversee contractors, ensure compliance with building regulations, and deliver exceptional service to owners and tenants alike.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing day-to-day maintenance requests, inspections, and repair works.
  • Engaging and coordinating contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.
  • Overseeing health and safety compliance, including contractor safety documentation and on-site checks.
  • Conducting property inspections and preparing detailed reports.
  • Supporting Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) and other compliance processes.
  • Identifying opportunities for preventative maintenance and sustainability improvements.
  • Working collaboratively with property and body corporate managers to deliver seamless facilities services.

What you’ll bring

  • Previous building experience or a hands-on understanding of property
  • A practical background that may include working in or alongside the building or trade sectors
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Confidence in using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • An understanding of health and safety
  • A full New Zealand driver’s licence.
