The School of Nursing has a permanent part-time position available for a Clinical Educator in Nursing. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to clinical education in the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes. Applicants must have a minimum of a PG certificate in a qualification relating to Nursing. There is an expectation that the appointee will contribute to the development of clinical learning within nursing at AUT.
He kōrero mōu – About you
Applicants will have a current NCNZ practising certificate and recent New Zealand clinical experience. They will embrace the vision and values of the school and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme. The position will work alongside students, including Māori and Pacific students, so a high level of cultural sensitivity is desired, with knowledge of kawa and tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori (Māori knowledge).
