About the Role

After a period of expansion, transition and growth, we are searching for experienced Qualified Anaesthetic Technicians / ODP's / RNAA's to come and join our team at Waitaha to work alongside us helping to deliver high-quality healthcare services to our valued tangata whaiora.

With permanent full-time, part-time and casual roles available, we may just have what you are looking for.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

Provide professional, technical and clinical assistance to Anaesthetists

Provide safe administration of anaesthesia to patients

Anticipate problems and exceptional patient care

Co-ordinate documentation to ensure the patient receives effective care

Mentoring trainee Anaesthetic Technicians / RNAA's

About You

A recognised qualification within New Zealand or international equivalent

Registration with the Medical Sciences Council, New Zealand Nursing Organisation with the RNAA scope of practice, or eligibility to obtain

Strong interpersonal skills

Motivated to embrace challenges and change

Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori OR a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth

A sense of humour and self awareness is also a must
