Mō te tūnga | About the role
Make a Real Difference - Be Part of an Amazing Journey!
We're looking for energetic, positive, and resilient Support Workers to join a team supporting a vibrant young man who attends high school and is living life to the fullest.
This is more than a job - it's about helping someone grow, explore, and live a truly meaningful life. You'll be alongside him as he tries new things, learns important life skills, and enjoys great fun and new experiences.
Some days will be full of laughter, adventure, and creativity. Others will require patience, problem-solving, and supporting him through challenging behaviours. Every day, you'll know that what you do matters.
You'll work closely with his whānau, who play an active and important role in his life. Together, you'll be part of a strong support network that values his individuality, celebrates his achievements, and helps him navigate challenges.
Part of the role will involve monitoring behaviour and maintaining safety. Dealing with challenging behaviour can be tough, but with the right approach, we can make a difference, promote positive behaviours, and create a supportive environment for people to thrive.
