With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and innovation, we are now looking for a motivated Business Development Specialist to help us grow our business and expand our client base.
As our Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving growth by building strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and developers. You will identify new business opportunities, nurture long-term partnerships, and promote our high-quality joinery solutions to both residential and commercial markets. This is a permanent full time position, you are required to work 40 hours per week between Monday and Friday during normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Client Acquisition
- Develop and implement strategies to expand our market share in the residential and commercial fit-out sectors.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with property developers, architects, construction companies, and interior designers.
- Actively pursue and convert leads into long-term business relationships.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.Act as the key point of contact between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.Represent Arcadia Joinery at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.Sales & Proposal Management
Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and quotations to prospective clients.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in line with company policies.Track sales activities, maintain CRM records, and provide regular reporting on progress against targets.Market Research & Strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.Provide feedback to the management and design teams on client needs, emerging trends, and product development opportunities.Contribute to marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and digital presence to support business objectives.Skills and Experience
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, management or a related field ORAt least two years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in joinery, construction, or interior fit-out industries)Strong relationship-building and networking skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesAbility to work independently and deliver resultsA passion for high-quality craftsmanship and design
