New Product Development Process Technologist
The role :
Reporting to the Strategic Innovation Manager, you will be working within the NPD Supplements team of 8 and have a key role in shaping our new innovative products.
We are looking for and experienced professional who can juggle multiple projects covering different formats of health supplements.
This is a hands-on role, and you will help the team to deliver products that help our consumer's live better lives.
Your responsibilities will include :
Leading continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiencies from a formulation and process standpoint
Leading manufacturing issue resolutions (process, product) and advising long term actions for manufacturing related to formulation or process deviations
Industrialising innovation and renovation projects from pilot trial through to scale-up
Co-ordinate the functions for small scale trials for reworked formulations and generate associated paperwork
Advising QA and manufacturing for on-line manufacturing process issues and assisting with new line implementation
Skills & competencies we are looking for :
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in product development in a manufacturing environment
Exposure to the formulation of supplements or pharmaceutical-type products
A tertiary qualification in science is essential with preference given for a chemistry major
Demonstrate good attention to detail and organisational skills
Prove yourself to be pragmatic, self-motivated, and solutions focused
Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
