This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who has been involved in new product development projects from early concept through to design verification testing and commercial readiness.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, technically demanding environment, and who can lead and contribute to robust testing, risk management, and design control processes within a highly regulated field.Your key responsibilities will include : Developing test strategies and designing experiments that support thorough design verification, ensuring our medical devices are reliable, robust, and meet all performance and regulatory requirements.Working with other engineers to capture and manage risk, ensuring all design control documentation is complete and compliant throughout the development lifecycle.Collaborating with internal stakeholders, clinical experts, and external development partners to bring user-centric, safe, and innovative products to life.Ensuring development plans are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with business and regulatory expectations.Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and mentoring intermediate and junior engineers as required.Preparing technical documentation and reports in line with the company's quality system.What You'll BringYou're someone who embraces technical challenges and is energized by bringing innovative solutions to life.

You will bring : Demonstrated experience in designing and developing new products through to design verification and launch, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.Proven capability in developing and executing test strategies, along with a deep understanding of design verification processes and planning.Experience leading projects, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage timelines, resources, and cross-functional stakeholders.Strong skills in risk management and design control processes aligned with regulatory and quality standards.Proficiency with 3D CAD software (e.g., SOLIDWORKS, Rhino 3D, CREO).
Excellent communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly.A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.What's in it for youBased in Airport Oaks with easy access to the motorway, there is plenty of free parking available around our offices.
