This role is based in our Ellerslie Support Office.
As Social Media & Content Manager, you'll be part of the wider Green Cross Health marketing team and take ownership of social media and content marketing for the Unichem and Life Pharmacy brands.
You'll also support the growth of our Care and Advice Health Hubs across the pharmacy network.
This is a hands-on role for a digitally savvy professional who excels in fast-paced environments and knows how to engage audiences with impactful health and retail messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate the value of pharmacy services such as vaccinations, health checks, and prescriptions.
Create and share engaging, informative content on seasonal health topics and services.
Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and loyalty programmes.
Highlight in-store events, brand activations, and exclusive offers across social channels.
Build and manage seasonal content calendars aligned to retail activity.
Develop and monitor paid campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok using Meta Ad Manager.
Manage day-to-day activity across social platforms.
Respond to customer reviews, comments, and enquiries in a timely and brand-aligned manner.
Ensure all content is accurate, evidence-based, and complies with TAPS and relevant advertising standards.
Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness using social insights and metrics.
Adjust strategy to optimise results and drive engagement, reach, and conversions.
This is a full time fixed term position, working 40 hours per week, commencing in November
Do you have what we're looking for?
Marketing / Business degree or similar
At least 3+ years' experience in a similar role
Understand the retail industry.
Would be advantageous to have worked in a franchise / licensee or decentralised model.
Has a passion for wellness and beauty.
Must be proficient on Meta Ads Manager, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Google Analytics and social monitoring tools
Ability to manage a variety of projects in a deadline driven environment and shift focus effectively to address new or unexpected situations.
