Transport Delivery Advisor X2

OverviewWe're looking to fill two permanent, full-time positions within our School Transport Group.

While our preferred locations are Otago / Southland and Auckland, we welcome applications from across the motu.

In this role, you'll contribute to the delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient school transport services for communities across Aotearoa.

You'll work regionally and nationally, managing transport routes, assessing student eligibility, ensuring contract compliance, and leading route reviews to improve service delivery.

This is a highly collaborative role, involving regular engagement with schools, transport providers, communities, and internal Ministry teams.

You'll be part of a team that values partnership, continuous improvement, and equity in access to education.At Te Tahuhu o te Matauranga, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to akonga and whanau.Key responsibilitiesManaging and reviewing school transport routes to ensure they meet policy and operational requirementsAssessing student eligibility for transport assistance in line with Ministry guidelinesMonitoring and supporting contract compliance with transport providersLeading route reviews and contributing to service improvementsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with schools, communities, and stakeholdersCollaborating with internal teams to align transport services with broader education outcomesWhat this role would suitIs confident working with data, systems, and processesEnjoys problem-solving and continuous learningCommunicates clearly and builds trust with diverse stakeholdersCan work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environmentHas a strong attention to detail and a commitment to equitySalarySalary range : $85,225 - $94,148 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.
