Launch Master - Manapouri / Te Anau

Overview

RealNZ is seeking a confident and capable Launch Master to lead vessel operations on Lake Manapouri and Te Anau. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, values safety and compliance, and enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As Launch Master, you'll have full operational responsibility for your vessel, crew, and passengers. You'll ensure safe and compliant operations in line with RealNZ's standards and maritime regulations, while proactively managing crew training, vessel maintenance, and environmental responsibilities. You'll lead by example - supporting crew wellbeing, fostering collaboration, and making sound operational decisions. You'll also host guests with warmth and professionalism, deliver engaging commentary, and support food and beverage service onboard. From safety checks to storytelling, you'll play a key role in delivering memorable experiences in one of Aotearoa's most breathtaking locations.
