Project Builder

Timberman Builders Limited is involved in the timber and building industry, specializing in timberframe design, plywood products, and high-quality bespoke timber products. We are seeking experienced Project Builder to join our team. This is permanent full-time employment with a minimum of 35 hrs / week.

Key Responsibilities

• Plans, organises, and oversees residential construction, renovation, and alteration projects, ensuring project objectives, scope, budgets, and timelines are achieved.
• Reviews, assesses, and interprets building plans and technical specifications to determine suitable construction methods and sequencing.
• Develops quotes and negotiates with clients throughout the construction process
• Coordinates and prioritises labour or subcontractors, materials, suppliers, and equipment to ensure efficient project workflow and continuity of work.
• Schedules subcontractors, monitors the building, alteration, or renovation process, and ensures work adheres to building standards and regulatory and client requirements
• Implements and manages Work Health and Safety (WHS) processes, conducts hazard identification and risk assessments, and ensures safe work practices are adhered to on-site.
• Identifies and resolves issues or delays in the building, alteration, or renovation process
• Maintains project documentation, reporting on progress, costs, variations, delivery schedules, and completion milestones to clients and management.
