Interiors Specialist - Builder

We are a small, tight knit team of builders who do everything from residential, light commercial, office fit outs and even seismic upgrades.
Based mainly in Auckland, we are fast paced, well trained, and dedicated to bringing our clients plans to life.
The Role
While we say builder – you could be a ceiling fixer, partitioner, builder, joinery or just a really skilled person. The more skills you have the better as the team we have are all across multiple facets of the industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ability to read plans – not just floor plans but really detailed joinery items and bespoke items
- Lead a team and motivate for the best during some long hours
- Install proprietary ceilings and partitions including a knowledge of current seismic requirements
- Installing plasterboard and bespoke wall linings / panelling’s (acoustic panels)
- Perform general building work such as framing, repairs, and finishing related to fitouts.
- Have that client focused personality that represents TCP in the market – you are the face of our company when on site
- Fabricate and install bespoke joinery or furniture components as part of interior fitouts. A joinery background would certainly put you on the top of the list
- Be available for after hours, weekend and out of Auckland works when needed
- Ensure all work meets quality and health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications and Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in carpentry, joinery, or interior fit outs or a Level 4 Certificate in carpentry or joineryPhysically fit, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.Commitment to following health and safety procedures.A full driver’s licence a must as you will be asked to drive company vehicles at timesFull set of your own tools are mandatory to fulfil the roleA clean criminal record is a must, applicants with any criminal or driving convictions will not be considered for the roleDrug & alcohol testing prior to commencement & at random during employmentMust be a NZ Citizen or Resident - No overseas applicantsEmployment Details
