Mercury is seeking a dynamic Capability & Change Lead to join our Transformation Capability and Change team.
As a strategic partner to Senior Leaders, you'll help shape and drive enterprise-wide transformation by turning strategic priorities into actionable change and capability uplift.
Collaboration is key—you'll bring people along the journey, fostering alignment and momentum.
You'll design and deliver strategies across priority portfolios, embedding sustainable ways of working and building capability for ongoing evolution.
This role offers a dynamic mix of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, supported by strong relationships across enabling teams.
You'll also play a pivotal role as a culture catalyst—championing the mindsets, behaviours, and systems that enable lasting change and organisational agility.
There is flexibility for this role to be based in Auckland, Hamilton or Rotorua.
Tertiary qualification in change management, organisational development, business, psychology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Professional certification in methodologies such as Prosci, APMG, Agile, LEAN, Adaptive preferred.
Strong experience in organisational change, transformation capability, learning and development, or related disciplines.
Proven ability to design and execute capability development initiatives aligned to business performance outcomes.
Experience applying transformation methodologies tailored to business needs and culture.
Demonstrated success influencing leadership behaviours, shaping culture, and building adaptive capability at scale.
